Narutaki is the son of the greatest detectives in Steam City in the Steam Detectives anime series. He took up the mantle after his parents' death. He is considered by some to be a child genius, but annoying by others. He is compassionate and sometimes naive in his attitude towards both his citizen charges and the villains he pursues. Narutaki's investigative style is similar to that of Sherlock Holmes. Despite his age, Narutaki drinks very strong coffee and has an eye for pretty ladies. Along with his partner Ling Ling (a young nurse who owns the megamaton, Goriki), helps him with the investigations and looks after his health.
