The Langer's Ball is a Steampunk 2 piece Irish Punk Rock band from St. Paul, MN. They play amped up (and mashed-up) Irish traditional songs and tunes as well as original material. They have been playing for over 15 years.

Michael Sturm (guitar, mandolin & vocals) and Hannah Rediske (accordion & penny whistle) have recorded 9 albums; "As I Roved Out" (2008), "Ships are Sailing" (2009), "LIVE: Drunk, Sick, Tired" (2011), "The Devil or the Barrel" (2012), "7 Year Itch" (EP 2014), "Whiskey Outlaws" (2016), "Hard Time in the Country" (2018), "Appetite for Tradition" (2020), and "Hold Tight" (2023).
In 2012, they teamed up with Drew Miller (bass), Trevor Jurgens (lead guitarist) and Derek Jaimes (drums) to create a raucous wall of high-energy Celtic sound. The band's first CD together, "The Devil or The Barrel" was released on July, 2012. 2013 brought a line-up change as Trevor left the band and TLB teamed up with Danny McDermott. The band is currently touring. They are performaing at a variety of Festivals around the US and working on a few singles and a Steampunk inspired music video for their original song "Whiskey Chaser".
They teamed up with another artist (currently unknown) to record "Appetite for Tradition" (2020), a primarily instrumental album.
